Prazska Pout

Our annual church picnic is held on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, August 15th, each year.  It is a celebration of our Czech heritage and is held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The day starts with celebrating the Holy Mass.  Czech songs are sung and the church is filled to capacity.  After Mass, everyone moves to the hall for good food, good music, and good cheer.  The celebration continues long into the night.  When the last person leaves, the preparations began for the following year.
